Why did you decide to integrate with Yammer?**\nWhile working at an enterprise company, we saw the internal team dumping data exports into a database – not effective for gaining insights. There were five community managers for 50,000 Yammer users. We saw that automated tools were needed, especially in the enterprise. So, we decided to dedicate the dev resources to develop the tools that enterprises need to get the most out of their ESNs.\n\n**Wiretap has been around for a few years. Can you share any results?**\nDespite being a U.S. headquartered company, our first customers were large consulting companies based in India. We specifically helped address their concern around protecting their intellectual property to enable them to adopt Yammer employee-wide. Soon after, we entered the European market and then the U.S. We’ve seen success worldwide in different verticals. Some of our strongest demand has been within highly regulated industries, such as financial services, health care & pharmaceuticals.\n\n**Any technical or marketing advice to share with developers who are new to the Yammer platform**\nGet involved with the Yammer community! \n*   ***** Meet the Yammer team at events. \n*   ***** Swap knowledge with the devs in the Microsoft Tech Community and on Stack Overflow. \n*   ***** Connect with other Yammer vendors to share advice and work together. \n*   ***** Attend [Ignite](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/ignite/) to collaborate with like-minded individuals. Ideal for discovery, being a “Learn More” app has been a huge marketing tool for us. We appreciate that Yammer offers this flexibility, since our app isn’t a traditional “Try It” app. </p>\n\nTake the time when selecting a brand name for your app. Last year, we re-branded for a name that customers understand and that fits our grander vision.  \n\n**Other advice or final points?**\nMicrosoft is a great partner. Being a part of the Office 365 ecosystem will open doors. \n\nIt’s been awesome to see that Yammer is keeping the Data Export API up-to-date.
